Here’s an update on burglary locally. Burglary Crime Update – Bullsmoor Ward
Since the second week of June, Bullsmoor Ward has been performing exceptionally well, with no burglary offences reported up to 17 July 2026. This has been a great result for both the police and our local residents.
However, on 18 July 2026, a residential burglary was reported in the Dell Road area. The incident occurred overnight, and suspects stole a number of personal belongings from the property.
A second incident was reported on 19 July 2026 in the Dewgrass Grove area. In this case, suspects gained access to a detached garage. Fortunately, nothing appeared to have been stolen.
As two burglary-related incidents have been reported in recent days, we encourage all residents to remain vigilant and take steps to ensure their homes are secure before going to bed or leaving their property unattended. Please remember to lock all doors and windows, secure sheds and garages, and report any suspicious activity to the police.
In the meantime, local officers will be increasing police patrols and visibility in the affected areas.
Kind regards,
